Slide Bases
These slide bases have
a single adjusting screw
and are suitable for the
majority of floor mounted
belt connected motor appli-
cations. These bases are not
suitable for ceiling or side wall installations,
except for 140T and 180T-Frame bases,
which may be either ceiling or side-wall
mounted if the belt pull is horizontal or
upward from the motor shaft, and the instal-
lation has no appreciable vibration.
Conversion Bases –
T to U Frame
The following bases provide an easy, inex-
pensive method of adapting the 1964 re-
rated standard motors to the 1952 standard
mountings. These bases make it possible to
mount standard T-Frame motors so that the
axial centerline will be identical and the end
of the shaft extension will be common with
the previous standard motor.
